I’ve been an Andrew Yang fan since first hearing him interviewed on the Joe Rogan Podcast in February. Since then, I’ve been inspired to write about him, and how his policies will set America up for a great future.

For the last couple debates I’ve saved my favorite tweets mentioning Andrew Yang. From Black Lives Matter, to members of the Yang Gang (Andrew Yang supporters), and members of the press, there was a lot of support for Andrew Yang’s ideas.
keep an eye on @AndrewYang – he might just have the right stuff. #AndrewYang #ideas #politics #history

Most surprising star: @AndrewYang
Everyone in the audience nodded in surprise at how impressive his answers were.
Now I get the #YangGang
I like Andrew Yang the best because I'm a big fan of 1000 dollars. Always have been.

At one of the debates they all laughed at @AndrewYang saying we need to move to higher ground. He knows it's happening already…#Yang2020 https://t.co/CwAzKSZwpH

Some other ammunition for @AndrewYang supporters: Among middle-aged adults, >50% income drops were linked to higher risk of heart disease, while income rise was linked to significantly lower risk. Evidence that universal basic income could be good for public health. #DemDebate
— Sandeep Jauhar (@sjauhar) December 20, 2019
Tonight we are witnessing a severe lack of candidates of color on the debate stage. Thanks for shouting out Black voters @AndrewYang #whatmatters2020 #BlackLivesMatter
— Black Lives Matter (@Blklivesmatter) December 20, 2019
S/O to @AndrewYang for being the first on the debate stage to bring up maternal mortality. It is unacceptable that the United States has a rising maternal mortality rate—this needs to be addressed by all candidates. #DemDebate
— NARAL (@NARAL) December 20, 2019
Yang bringing up thorium is gangster. #1 because he's right, #2 because it's mad nerdy and he risks losing the crowd but did it anyway lol #DemDebate

Andrew Yang: "I'd guarantee" that if every American had a guaranteed minimum income, "I would not be the only candidate of color on this stage tonight." #DemDebate pic.twitter.com/uPqZbXIbJZ

Thank you, @AndrewYang & @berniesanders, for bringing attention to the high maternal mortality rate for Black women in this country. Racial disparities in care have led to Black women dying from pregnancy-related complications 3 to 4x the rate of white women. We must do better. https://t.co/lQsdJw0LXg

Andrew Yang was the only Democratic debate candidate to answer the impeachment question honestly https://t.co/avQ0q2276G

Alright I've been bashing Andrew Yang but I love him saying we should stop confusing economic value with human value. And I love him standing up for his special needs son.
— Joan Walsh (@joanwalsh) December 20, 2019
What if @AndrewYang is the wokest feminist on stage?
— Molly Jong-Fast🏡 (@MollyJongFast) December 20, 2019
As somebody with an autistic brother, seeing @AndrewYang’s support for the special needs community is inspiring and game-changing. For that and many other reasons, tonight belongs to Yang and I’m expecting to see the conversation on him change drastically.
— Cam (@cameron_kasky) December 20, 2019
Always liked @AndrewYang but like him even more after tonight's #DemocraticDebate

For someone who is a non-politician, @andrewyang has remarkable political skills and elegantly mixes intelligence with humor.
— Nicholas Kristof (@NickKristof) December 20, 2019
And @AndrewYang talking to the audience instead of bickering with each other. Totally different debate style. #DemDebate

What abt how @AndrewYang is still in the runnng, even with less money, less notoriety, & less attention from the press than ALL of those who dropped out?? He also looks like he’s having the most fun. An amazing story the media is ignoring.
— Lyrics Born (@lyricsborn) December 20, 2019
loudest applause was for @andrewyang, who said we should stop being “obsessed with impeachment” and focus on ”fixing the problems that got donald trump elected in the first place.”
— dan q. dao (@danqdao) December 20, 2019
amen. getting rid of trump won’t make those issues go away. #yanggang #yang2020
It’s impossible to listen to @AndrewYang and not love the guy. He’s easily the most likeable of the remaining candidates.
— Jason Page (@TheBackPage) December 20, 2019
And he has a message that is resonating. I hope tonight continued to boost that message and his standing in the race.#DemocraticDebate
After the 2016 election I made a promise to myself to pay attention and find a solid candidate to get behind next time around. It's almost been a year since I found out about @AndrewYang and I'm happy I followed through.
— Yusuke Urameshi (@sorrykhary) December 20, 2019
You made me proud tn.
Impressed by @AndrewYang's statements on kids with special needs "We have to be able to say to our kids that you have intrinsic value because you’re a human being." "We have to stop confusing economic value & human value". I think the #YangGang is onto something. #DemDebate
— Dr. Heather Berlin (@heather_berlin) December 20, 2019

Yang at #DemDebate: "I know what you're thinking, America: How am I still on this stage with them?"
— Dan Merica (@merica) December 20, 2019
The irony: Yang has yet to miss a debate and tonight's performance was likely his best.
I appreciate @AndrewYang's willingness to highlight drug addiction epidemics in the US as a sign of an economy that neglects the many.#DemDebate #DemocraticDebate

Some people are running for president as a job promotion,
Some people are running to add a tab to their Wikipedia page,
And then @AndrewYang is running, not for himself, but because he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our country. #YangGang
