The Google Local Guides team just published a fun game on their Twitter feed to help more people learn about Google Maps and to share their favorite locations.
Are you up for a #LetsGuide challenge?
1. Screenshot the wheel to find out who you should guide next 🎡
2. Share it using #LetsGuide 💬
3. This weekend, add your photos, reviews and lists to @GoogleMaps to guide them 📍 pic.twitter.com/sKtRje8TdK— Local Guides (@localguides) March 9, 2018
After visiting their tweet, simply take a screen grab of their spinning wheel gif, and what ever you and on is your topic to make your Google Maps list on.
I landed on: “Window Shopping Gardners”
In the spirit of this topic I decided to create a list of my local garden supply stores as well as some of Portland’s best Farmer’s markets, which often have plants and seeds for sale.
Below is a screen grab of my list:
You can see this list live on Google Maps by following this link. Please check my Google maps list out and let me know what you think.
To join the fun and make a list of your own, simply visit a business or location in the Google Maps app and click the “save” button then select “new list”.
It’s as easy as that! Let me know if you have any questions by commenting on this article or tweet me @oakfive.
