This article is a list of my most read articles of 2020 — this has been a busy year, with less writing and fewer pageviews. A big part of this is that 2019 was very much about Andrew Yang and Universal Basic Income. In turn, I had a great deal of 2019 traffic thanks to sharing my Andrew Yang articles to social media.
Articles about Wim Hof continue to dominate this site’s pageviews this year. This is due to Wim’s rise in global popularity, and his breathing method’s scientifically proven ability to improve immune function (source).
Read on to see askoshbetter.com’s most read articles of 2020:
I’m extremely proud of this article because Wim Hof Breathing is changing the world. My Wim Hof Breathing practice has reduced my anxiety, given me strength, and helped me add more love to my life and home.
This year, Wim published his first book. It’s been a NYT bestseller since coming out in late October.
This was one of my most read articles because it was shared on a popular Andrew Yang Facebook group. It’s simply a list of tweets from various people expressing appreciation for Andrew Yang. I sorely miss his candidacy.
I’m glad people are finding this very personal article helpful. I have a nightshade and potato allergy. When I remove those foods from my diet, my eczema goes away. This probably won’t work for everyone’s eczema, however, it worked for mine. More importantly, I hope people take a look at diet when examining possible causes for eczema.
I love this article, but a lot of people write about hangover cures, so I’m surprised this article was a big driver of website traffic. The tactics to cure hangovers listed in the article, including Wim Hof Breathing, really do work. Similar to my eczema article, I hope people don’t just look at remedies. I hope people look at why they may be drinking so much they need a hangover cure article.
A while back, I zip-tied Exacto knife carved two-liter bottles to my bike’s rear rack and ended up with a pretty exceptional bike fender for my Portland, Oregon bike commute. I’ve since moved on to using reusable SKS fenders which are only $15-$20 and made in Germany. I’ve opted for removable fenders because it doesn’t rain that much in Portland.
I wrote this article after listening to Andrew Yang on the Joe Rogan podcast. There are so many ways UBI will improve people’s lives. I’m now a monthly donor to Yang’s org, Humanity Forward, and a supporter of Give Directly and World Basic Income.
Let’s make basic income happen!!!
The last year has been hard. COVID, a toddler, a job I didn’t resonate with, and a new job with a lot of responsibility.
I’m so honored that people from around the world are drawn to this site. The articles you all have found and read, mean so much to me.
Sharing these four things with the world is so important to me. This year I’m tempted to buy a touch of advertising to continue to help spread the word about these topics. I may even compile these all into a book. Stay tuned.
Thank you for reading. Your comments and sharing mean the world to me.
XO
Nate
